Minority and Women's Health Initiative


The Minority and Women's Health Initiative

The Minority and Women's Health Initiative seeks to analyze health disparities related to minority groups and female populations. Particular issues that will be addressed include: comprehensive sexual health education, Asian American health, chronic Hepatitis-B and liver cancer, Immigration, cervical cancer in Hispanic and Vietnamese women, cultural and linguistic barriers, health literacy, nutrition and culturally appropriate food, and blood donation by homosexuals. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, May 1 at the Student Involvement Suite at 6:15 PM.
